I placed an order for the washing machine on January 3rd, and then got a call on the 5th saying it was out of stock. So, I picked a different one, only to find out on January 12th that there were significant delays. This left me without a washing machine for a whole two weeks!

I bought a Range-master cooker, which I really needed to host a bunch of families during Christmas, and this company went above and beyond for me. From the time I ordered to when it arrived, just 4 days passed! Johnathan, the sales manager, was super nice, helpful, and kept me in the loop about the delivery. I’d definitely suggest getting any appliance from 'The Appliance People' because their customer service is top-notch, and they truly go the extra mile!

The team was supportive and friendly during the whole process. The pricing was fair, the shipping details were communicated promptly and correctly, and the crew that showed up with the appliance was courteous and eager to help us with both the delivery and pickup.

I definitely recommend steering clear of this company. I purchased a Bosch series 6 washing machine for around £700 from them, and I even paid for their installation service. Just four weeks after getting it set up, the machine broke down. I reached out to them to report the faulty appliance and requested a replacement, but they flat-out refused to take it back. Despite being well within my consumer rights, they stopped answering my calls, and I haven't been able to get in touch since then.

They told me to get in touch with Bosch for repairs. When I did, Bosch informed me that I had every right to ask for a refund or a replacement from the seller. I went back to the appliance people, but they insisted they couldn't replace or refund the item because they were a small business. I told them that was not my concern since they sold me a defective appliance, and Bosch had clarified my rights. All they seemed to care about was that Bosch shouldn't have given me that info.

Bosch explained that they could only repair the machine as a third party since I didn’t buy it directly from them. They advised that the Appliance People, as the seller, should be the ones providing a refund or replacement, especially since their checks confirmed the washing machine was indeed faulty.

I would never suggest anyone buy from this company. They only reached out to me after I left a review here last December, right before Christmas. They refused to follow up with me after that.

I asked for a replacement for the Bosch washing machine that failed within a month of purchase, and they turned me down. They expected Bosch to handle the repairs as if I had bought the machine from them. Total scam, if you ask me. Never again!

This was the most amazing experience I've ever had purchasing an appliance. I not only snagged a fantastic deal, but everyone I interacted with at Appliance People—whether I was inquiring about the delivery schedule or confirming it was en route—was super friendly and accommodating. The delivery team was also top-notch—just really great folks.

Their website wouldn't accept my PayPal or Visa debit card. Not very good to have deals if you can't make a purchase.

Wendy was incredible and made sure to keep my mother updated on everything throughout the process. Even when the model we were after wasn't in stock, she was upfront and helped us explore several alternatives. She dedicated extra time to make sure all of my mother's worries were taken care of. Truly excellent, traditional, and personalized customer service. You don't see that much these days.

We placed an order for the fridge freezer through their website and opted for click and collect. When we got to the showroom/warehouse, Jonathan was there by himself, but he was super helpful, really going the extra mile to load the appliance into our vehicle. Fantastic product! Fantastic price! Fantastic service! I’d definitely recommend them! They totally earned those 5 stars.

Big thanks for tracking down all the appliances. The service level is top-notch. Waiting for the ovens was definitely worth it. Plus, the delivery service is really good - from Nottinghamshire to Sussex.

We picked up a display model American fridge/freezer at a fraction of the cost compared to retail prices, and it looks fantastic. Honestly, it appears brand new. The assistance I got from Nigel was speedy, effective, and top-notch. Just a few days after my call, they brought it right to my doorstep. I’m for sure gonna use this company again.
